  • Southwest Coast Boonie Stomp – Saturday, April 7 – Difficult 6 hour hike south from Agat to Umatac passing by several scenic bays that are great for a cooling swim. . We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagåtña. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required.   Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, swim suit, snorkel gear, gloves, insect repellent, sun screen, sunglasses, lunch, and camera. Special conditions: A long hike in the sun over, sand, rocks, mud, and partly in the water. For more information please contact:  787-8830

  • Mt. Schroeder to Inalåhan Boonie Stomp – Saturday, April 14 – Very difficult 6 hour hike up and over Mount Schroeder from Merizo to Inalåhan.  We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagåtña. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required.  Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, sun screen, insect repellant, lunch, and camera.   • Umatac Bay to Toguan Bay – Saturday, April 21 – Easy 3 hour cleanup hike. We enjoy this scenic coastal walk while cleaning up the coastline. At Toguan Bay, we can snorkel or scuba dive. . We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagåtña. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described.   • Nimitz Hill Caves Boonie Stomp – Saturday, April 28 – Medium 3-4 hour stomp exploring natural caves used during World War II from a significant battlefield of late July 1944 from the Liberation of Guam. . We meet at 9:00 AM in the Center Court of Chamorro Village in Hagåtña. The cost is $2.00 for hikers over 12. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Hikers should provide their own transportation. Guam’s trails are not developed. Weather conditions can make the hikes more difficult than described. No reservations required. Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, long pants, flashlight, insect repellent, lunch, and camera. Guam Boonie Stompers is a non-profit Guam corporation composed of volunteer leaders committed to leading safe and enjoyable hikes to unique destinations on our special island and the protection of our cultural and natural resources while maintaining public access.
