Welcome to the Leisure side of Guam where you can find a leisure activity to suit you.  You will find quite a bit of leisure activities & things to do on Guam. 

 

Agana Hash House Harriers - Looking for an Activity on Guam a little different from the rest.  Are you adventurous...come on out for some wayward discreet fun throughout the island.  Always interesting chasing the Hares.  Agana Hash House Harriers meet every Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm between the Cathedral and PNB front offices of the Pacific Daily News.  they post a map and off we go; every run different, and every run secret with every after party fairly discreet.
 

Weekly Sunday Off-road mountain bike rides 2:00pm @ MTB Outfitters in Hagatna, weather permitting.  Riders are responsible to bring hydration, energy bars and helmet. Info:  Tony Limtiaco @ 477-2453.

Society for Creative Anachronism Medieval Re-enactment meetings 4:00pm, Saturdays to practice armored combat, rapier fighting, and arts & sciences.  Anyone with an interest in history is encouraged to attend.  SCA is a non-profit group primarily for adults, but families are welcome.  Info: Chris @649-0541 (evening), John or Barbara @ 653-4808.

 

Boonie Stomps

 

    such as beaches, snorkeling sites, wateralls, maountains, caves latte sites, and World War II sites.  Meeting time is 9:00am at the Paseo Recreation Building in Hagatna behind the Chamorro Village.  The cost is $2.00 for hikers over the age of 12.  Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Hikers should provide their own transportation.  Guam trails are not developed.  Hikers will need to bring plenty of water, hiking boots, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellant & a lunch.

Fadian Cove
Difficult
3 hours for 1+ mile

We descend to this scenic cove below the cliffs to swim and snorkel if the water is calm.

Bring: 3 quarts water, hiking boots, swim suit, snorkel gear, gloves, insect repellant, sun screen, lunch, and camera.

Special conditions: A steep hill to climb and hiking over rough rocks.

 

 

June 9
Lower Sigua Falls North
Very Difficult
5+ hours for 6 miles

We follow the northern ridge to Lower Sigua Falls and return on the traditional trail.

Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, swimsuit, gloves, sunscreen, insect repellant, lunch, and camera.

Special conditions: Swordgrass and steep slopes.

 

 

June 16
Talofofo Bay to Inarajan Bay
Very Difficult
5+ hours for 5 miles

We hike along the remote Asiga coastline with a few stops to cool off in the water.

Bring: 4 quarts water, hiking boots, water shoes, swim suit, gloves, insect repellant, sun screen, lunch, and camera.

Special conditions: Long stretches of walking in water, over rough rocks, no shade, and possible surf.

 

June 23
Nimitz Hill Caves
Medium
3 hours for 1.2 miles

We explore World War II caves from a significant battlefield.

Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, gloves, long pants, flashlight, insect repellant, sunscreen, lunch, and camera.

Special conditions: Climbing and crawling in narrow cave passages

 

 

June 30
Gun Beach to Tanguisson Beach
Medium
3 hours for 1.8 miles

We visit the coastline below the imposing cliffs of Two Lovers Point to visit latte and a cave.

Bring: 2 quarts water, hiking boots, swim suit, water shoes, flashlight, gloves, insect repellant, sun screen, lunch, and camera.

Special conditions: Some rocky walking and walking in water.
